MUM Style Guide

All publications at MIU should follow the guidelines in the document linked below, including syllabi, print publications, email newsletters, and web pages.

The Style Guide includes:

• Trademark information — It’s crucial to adhere to these guidelines so that these trademarks can be retained. This entails proper use of capitalization and trailer nouns, using the correct superscript service mark, and including a legend in the document that lists the trademarks used and the permission to use them.
• Listing of service marks — This listing shows the correct spelling and capitalization, as well as the preferred terms. It also includes terms used historically but no longer current.
• Sanskrit terms — This list can be used for details on spelling, capitalization, and diacritical marks.
• Alphabetical list of usage — This is a general guide to spelling, capitalization, abbreviation, and usage.
