General Education Program Learning Outcomes
By the end of the program, students will be able to…
1. Critically evaluate a new paradigm that sees consciousness as primary and as the unified field of mind, body, and the physical universe.
2. Interpret the transformations in one’s own mind and body that result from the regular practice of the Transcendental Meditation program.
3. Apply unifying principles within and across disciplines to synthesize ideas, integrate divergent perspectives, and understand what they have learned in light of their own consciousness.
4. Reflect on changes to your daily routine and their effects on your mental and physical wellness.
5. Organize and write creative, reflective, and persuasive texts, including, for persuasive texts, the ability to apply the five standards of critical thinking (precision, depth, logical, fair-minded, creative and caring) to their writing.
6. Use quantitative reasoning to evaluate claims and to solve real and hypothetical problems.
