Seven States of Consciousness

There are seven states of consciousness that have been experienced throughout the ages. Each state has a distinct quality of experience and corresponding functioning of the nervous system.

6th State: Refined Cosmic Consciousness / God Consciousness

Wholeness

Refined Cosmic Consciousness, or God Consciousness, is brought about by most refined development of the heart, and characterized by most refined sensory perception.

Study Questions

  • What are the characteristics of God Consciousness?
  • Is God Consciousness a state where an individual becomes “God”? Explain.
